Art For The Sky

The sky is not our limit, it is our greatest teacher!

Art for the Sky is an awe-inspiring, whole-school artist residency devoted to developing children’s knowledge about our planet, our history, and our responsibility for the future through the creation of giant-scale work of art!

Art for the Sky unfolds over 3 days and encompasses 2 school-wide assemblies, the creation of a giant-scale work of art, and the image reveal at the end in a special project film.

The project only takes about 4 hours of student time but allows for a diverse and rich educational experience including teaching the concept 'Sky Sight', through which children of diverse backgrounds are socialized into enlarged perspectives where each one sees beyond the self to a vision of a unified whole.
