Awesome Art! offers multiple sessions and one-off hands-on artmaking workshops for children of all ages. Visual multimedia MFA artist and educator Allison Lash provides SEL Development, art to watch and make, virtual field trips, workshops, activities (indoors and outdoors) and family/community wide activities.
Former Pre-K-12th grade New York City public school art teacher and visual artist Allison guides children to explore art making while building self-confidence, problem solving and practicing reflection. Allison selects the best materials and tools for adults and children to thrive in art making at any skill level. Awesome Art! is a Fine Arts Service Provider, holds a Fine Arts & Creative Learning Partnership with the Austin Independent School District and leads virtual and in person public art workshops throughout the City of Austin funded in part by grants provided by the City of Austin.

Virtual Visual Art Teaching Residencies, K-5th Grade:
Virtual hands-on workshops (multiple sessions) collaborating with classroom teachers and partnering with students to foster the artist’s way of thinking and working (making mistakes into something new, learning to adapt, and thinking outside the box). Integrating visual arts activities with cross curricular, making connections and promoting lifelong learning.
Virtual Art Teacher Mentoring Partnerships- creating, organizing and maintaining a successful art studio, K-12th Grade:
Collaborating virtually with district Visual Arts Coordinators to ensure that visual arts teachers are engaging and effective educators. Creating and maintaining mentoring partnerships with district art teachers to ensure high quality visual art education throughout the district.
Virtual Professional Development Workshops For Arts And Non-Arts Teachers, Workshops For Communities and Families, K-12th Grade:
Virtual hands-on workshops (multiple sessions or a one-off) partnering with teachers and families to develop teaching strategies for educating children with different learning styles (teaching to Multiple Intelligences) while integrating visual arts activities with cross curricular, making connections and promoting lifelong learning.
