Austin Soundwaves
Austin Soundwaves offers engaging music performances and workshops for K-12 students in English and Spanish. We also offer Creative Learning Initiative residencies and music education programs throughout Austin ISD.
Our mission and vision is to make learning music accessible and equitable in a world without barriers to music education. With over a decade supporting the Creative Learning Initiative and expanding access to music education in AISD, we offer engaging programs and performances tailored to all grade levels.
Our Soundwaves Spotlight Programs are TEKS-aligned concerts and workshops for K-12 students in AISD. We offer unique programs each year that feature a variety of stories and instruments and can be presented in English, Spanish, or both languages.
Our School Residency Programs put students in the driver’s seat to create, compose, and perform. Residency programs utilize CLI strategies and arts integration techniques to reinforce learning targets and energize students and teachers.
